A press with a crank connecting rod as its working mechanism. Crank press is the most commonly used cold stamping equipment. It is simple in structure, convenient in use, stable in movement, and reliable in work. It is widely used in stamping, extrusion, die forging, powder metallurgy and other processes. The motor drives the crankshaft to rotate through the small gear, big gear (flywheel) and clutch, and then makes the slider reciprocate in the guide rail of the machine body through the connecting rod. The upper mold of the mold is fixed on the sliding block, and the lower mold is fixed on the machine body workbench, so that the press can pressurize the materials to be punched between the upper mold and the lower mold, and the mold can be used to punch them into workpieces to achieve pressure processing. The clutch is controlled by the pedal through the operating mechanism to realize the movement or stop of the slider crank mechanism. The brake works closely with the clutch to stop the slider crank mechanism at a certain position after the clutch is disengaged (generally, the slider is at the top dead center). The big gear also acts as a flywheel, making the load of the motor even, and effectively storing and releasing energy.
