The machining process of camshaft hole is divided into two processes: rough boring and fine boring. The principle of this method is to process the camshaft hole through a linear boring bar, which is positioned and guided by a number of guiding devices installed on the clamp. The linear boring bar is equipped with a boring cutter at each gear hole corresponding to the camshaft hole. The spindle transmits torque to the linear boring bar, and all gear holes are processed simultaneously through the relative movement of the body and the boring cutter. This traditional processing method has high efficiency and good accuracy, but its structure is extremely complex, its cost is very high, and its development cycle is very long.
